Description
Denmark’s journey to Euro 1988 was a disappointing one. Drawn into Group A with West Germany, Italy and Spain, the Danish team failed to earn a single point.
John Jensen was part of that team, playing as a midfielder. However, he was not a standout performer at the tournament. His career with the Danish national team reached its peak in the triumphant Euro 1992, where he also scored a goal in the final against Germany. But at Euro 1988, Jensen, like the rest of the team, failed to make his mark.
